Candle Care Tips
PIUM CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTION
Always trim the candle wick down to 3 mm before every lighting to achieve cleaner burn.
Smoke or high flame means that the candle wick is too long. If that occurs, please blow out the candle, and cut the wick down.
Do not burn the candle longer than 3-4 hours.
After blowing out the candle, re-center, and straighten the wick.
Keep the candle away from direct sunlight to avoid discolorations.
Do not leave a lit candle unattended.
Never burn candles next to the wall or objects.
Do not burn the candle all the way down. Always leave at least 5 mm of non-molten wax at the bottom.
WICK TYPES
1. Wood wicks burn wider and slower, giving you a longer burn time.
Wooden wicks are natural and eco-friendly. They produce a crackling sound reminiscent of a wood-burning fireplace. It is this unique feature that makes a wooden wick candle so appealing.
2. Cotton wicks are braided cotton strands, dipped in wax and compressed to hold their shape. Cotton wicks are easier to maintain candles.
